New unique color found in an Icelandic Horse

This is the stallion Ellert frá Baldurshaga. He probably carries  the unique color sabino/drizzled skewbald or pied that never before has occurred. In Icelandic the color is named “ýruskjóttur”. According to the Icelandic newspaper Baendabladid, Ellert is the only horse in the world to have this particular color combination. In Worldfengur however, he is for now registered as bay dun splashed white. Ellerts sire is the honor-winning Saer frá Bakkakoti and his dam is Kengála frá Búlandi who has given several first class offsprings. Ellert is right now being trained to be shown this year on Iceland.
